San Diego, CA, May, 17, 2007 – Southwest Strategies expands their public relations team with the addition of two skilled professionals, Rebecca DeBreau and Meghan Rickey.
DeBreau brings 20 years of expertise in graphic design, brochure development, specialty packaging, illustration and photography to Southwest Strategies. She is responsible for the coordination, production and design of media for a wide range of clientele. DeBreau’s creative edge and quality input allow her to effectively communicate with clients in order to create designs that are customized to suit their specific marketing messages.
Prior to Southwest Strategies, DeBreau has worked as an accomplished graphic designer for Jack in the Box Inc., the fifth largest fast food company in the United States. Through her experience directing photo shoots and designing print material for the company, DeBreau developed a detailed understanding of innovative marketing tactics and the techniques necessary to help businesses succeed in an age of ever-changing graphic design.
DeBreau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Photography from Humboldt State University.
Along with DeBreau, the firm is also pleased to announce the addition of Meghan Rickey as an Account Executive. Rickey will assist with the firm’s clients developing community, government and media outreach programs. Rickey will work on a variety of projects including Tri-City Medical Center, Pardee Homes, Eternal Hills Oceanside and American Medical Response.
A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Rickey began her career as an intern at Southwest Strategies. After gaining a broad range of knowledge and experience in the field as an intern, she was selected to join the team at Southwest Strategies as an Account Coordinator, and later an Account Executive.
Rickey has contributed hundreds of volunteer hours to several local charities, including the American Cancer Society and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Currently Rickey serves as a competitive soccer coach and soccer camp advisor in the City of Poway.
